Gucci Spring 2010

It's that time of year again: the time to put away the turkey and get on the elliptical because it's nearly Spring, which means, it's almost summer! (Okay, maybe I can do this once New Years has passed... haha) I am no different. Of course, My New Years resolution is always to lsoe weight but this year is very different. My best friend is getting married come this summer and I'm her maid of honor. This is a disaster! I'm not in any shape to parade my body around a church full of people. Thus, I need to slim down. A lot... slim down a lot. I'm a size 12 (okay, a 14, but if a 12 fits, why not wear it?). I want to be a size 8-10 before the wedding. I don't think that's an unrealistic goal. It's not as if I want to be a size 2... Anyway, that's my goal and that is what I WILL do. How? I don't know.. maybe just eating less and moving more.

On to less depressing things..... I've always loved Gucci. I don't know exactly why, but I've had this semi-obsession with the brand. Their Spring 2010 is gorgeous! I am dazzled! Are you?

The intricate color is stunning!

I love this color. Especially the sunglasses.

The color and the beading make the dress unique and just gorgeous!

My favorite piece actually. What I wouldn't to to wear/look this good in this cutout.

Side-View... I love the large Gucci tote!

The shoes are to die for. They are sky-high and sexy!

Is this collection not stunning? These are only some of my favorites. Of course, I could probably never look this good in any of these articles, which is why I'm not going to buy them, but that's not going to stop me from ogling them. What do you think of them?

Happy Holidays:)

Just some cravings...

My favorite pair of jeans ripped yesterday! I've only had these 7 For All Mankind jeans for about 6 months so I was shocked. So now I've decided that I need to go shopping for a new favorite pair of jeans. Some of my favorite jean brands are: 7 For All Mankind, True Religion, Hudson (love the pocket design on these), Joe's Jeans, and Adriano Goldschmied jeans. So I'm going shopping! Haha, here are some things I really want right now.

Longchamp "La Pliage" large tote in New Navy: $145

True Religion "Becky" in the Dark Pony Express wash: $172

Christian Louboutin Python Pumps: $1,055

Fendi Fur-Shoulder Sweater Dress... on SALE!
Originally: 1,995.00 now only: $718.19 (At Sakes 5th Ave)

Anyway, I hope you are all having an awesome day:)

My Ray-Bans!

So, in the previous post I asked readers to rate Ray-Bans as classy or trashy. I think they're classy, but I don't really know if they fit my face well. How do they look? I can still return them haha!
Okay, this is my face in Ray-Bans! What do you think? Can I rock them?

Yes, I need to do something with my hair. I like it long because I think it's very beautiful, but it takes so long to get it ready and it's so hard! Also, my sister told me not to cut it just because everyone else is sporting the short hair (especially in my friend circle) and I want to stand out.

Anyone have any ideas?

The holidays bring out the worst in me. I'm frustrated, stressed, upset almost everyday. I have SO much to do! I don't even think I'll finish it all and that scares me because it must be done. This isn't just stuff for the holidays but everything in my life right now! I need a vacation!

Hope you all are feeling better than me;)

Classy or Trashy?

What do you think of Ray Ban's original Wayfarer sunglasses? Are they a classic that can be worn with virtually anything. OR are they trashy and should NOT be worn at all?

I would really like to know:)

Anyway, good news. I lost 7.2 pounds!!! SEVEN!!! I still have a long way to go before I get to my goal weight, but this is really encouraging me too keep moving and not give up:)

I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday. I'm honestly too stressed. I think I'm going to start graying any day haha!
Best wishes:)

Last Thursday, November 26, photographer Sam Haskins died. He was 83 years old and died of a suicide. It's said that he was depressed after a series of strokes. Here's some of his amazing work:

Shopping: MISSED OPPERTUNITY!

Okay, I saw this super cute pair of Cole Hanns at Marshall's of all places for a steal: $79.99! I didn't buy them because I was buying so much other things at that time. Now I'm thinking, they would be so perfect for fall. I know the purple trend is passing, but how cute would these be with black tights and a semi-fancy skirt? Ugh, I'm a moron!

Kick myself right now!

Anyway, I've decided to go on a "shopping fast" to encourage myself to lose weight. Once I lose it, I will reward myself with new Louboutins and smaller sizes! Besides, my wide feet don't exactly look good in narrow, European shoes right now.

Still depressed and NOT at all thankful for Thanksgiving. My friend and I are starting Zumba classes soon. Anyone have any advice?

Anyway, I picked up a sexy bra from Victoria's Secret to make myself feel a bit more sexy around the holidays because God knows I feel like a cow around this time. Do you like it?

And I got it on sale for $26. The Original price was $58. Now it's down to $19.99! Yes, I'm the ultimate cheap-ass bargain hunter haha.

My "diet" is going well. I'm not dieting as much as just not eating and keeping myself busy between meals and what not. I gained 5 pounds over Thanksgiving:( I need to lose them, and then some!

It's 2:16 AM and I cannot sleep but I hope you're having a good night!

I can feel it...

The weight I've gained from Thanksgiving is making me feel pregnant! Seriously... my stomach has never felt so swollen and droopy. I'm no barbie to begin with, and am actually pretty big, but this extra weight is making me feel depressed. I want to lose it! I'm afraid to even go into my bathroom with the scale in it because of it. Last year, I lost 20 pounds and I have kept it off but I stopped after that.
So I'm bribing myself. If I can get down to a certain weight I'm going to buy myself my first ever pair of Christian Louboutins as a gift. My limit will be a thousand dollars for them. :) Wish me luck because I'm going to the gym and oh man, Christmas is coming soon as well. This goal weight is about 50 pounds away.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Turkey Day to EVERYONE! This year, I am thankful for the amazing people in my life. First and foremost, my sister. She has helped me through everything in my life. The ups and the downs. Thanks Natalie:)

What are YOU most thankful for?

I have been eying these Christian Louboutin "Nooka" shoes for a while. They're around 600 dollars and I just don't know if they're worth it. Take a look:

The first ones would be my first choice, although I also like the black ones. What do you think?
I don't currently own any Christian Louboutins so I'm not really sure if they would be too narrow or what not for me because my feet are a bit wide and I'm extremely flat footed (a diva's worst nightmare)!
I would have to order them online because they're not selling them in stores anymore so I need to figure out my size first:(
Can anyone give me any advice about how to walk better in heels and things like that, especially for flat foots? That would be awesome:)

Sewing...

My mother knows how to and my aunt is a professional seamstress with her own business. Now I want to learn how to. I've been "practicing" hand stitching things, but it's too hard! I do have several sewing machines (from my mother) that I've never even touched!

I want to make my own top. It's going to take me months to accomplish it, but I've decided to try:)

Abercrombie and Fitch

I was never a big A&F person until I recently lost about 20 pounds. I always thought I was "too fat" for it, but this winter, I bought this adorable cardigan there that fit me perfectly. Anyway, I went back to get some stuff for summer and the beach. It was all on super-sale as well so I didn't spend all that much:)

Originally $36.00, but on sale for $18.90. I got these specifically for this Anne Cole plain, navy, one-piece bathingsuit I got. They go so well together, as well as hiding some of my flaws.

Originally $30.00, but on sale for $18.90. I got a couple of these shirts, but in different styles simply because it's low and perfect for the beach.

Originally $40.00, but on sale for $19.90. Very comfortable, but not as durable as I expected. They will be done in a couple of months. I don't think they are worth $40, but they are a nice find at around half of that!

And this is what I still want to get:

Originally $80.00, but on sale for $19.90!
I love lacy, gauzy material and it's just so gorgeous. It's honestly the last thing I would ever expect to find at Abercrombie. It looks like something from Victoria's Secret! I just don't know how to wear it...

Silk

Top: Banana Republic $14.99
Jeans: 7 For All Mankind $178.00

I got this shirt from Banana Republic for $14.99 last week (it's not even that cheap on the site). It's 100% silk. I love it, except the top is a bit loose. I'm a bit proportional so the top is too loose and a large would fit better on top, but on bottom, it would be too tight around my belly.

I'll upload pictures of me wearing it later. I'm so excited. Ever notice how telling people what you purchased makes it seem so much better?
